The man accused of stalking Anna Kournikova has been judged mentally unfit to stand trial.
William Lepeska - who was caught naked outside the tennis babe's Miami mansion earlier this year - will now spend the next six months in a secure unit.
He will face charges if doctors decide his condition has improved.
Judge Diane Ward said yesterday (06.04.05): "His illness is legitimate."
Homeless Lepeska - who has a tattoo of the blonde beauty's name on his arm - was removed from court yesterday after making a series of incoherent statements and repeatedly shuffling papers.
Experts said his behaviour in court corresponded with pre-trial psychiatric assessments and said Lepeska had not been prescribed any medication for his condition.
Psychologist Jethro Toomer said: "He sees himself as a victim.
"Everything is part of a conspiracy where he's been wronged."
The 40-year-old, who faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted, was arrested by officers in January after swimming across Florida's Biscayne Bay, without clothes, in a bid to reach the sexy star.
Lepeska, who has a history of stalking celebrities including former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm, denied allegations that he bombarded the 23-year-old sports star with letters and sexually explicit e-mails at a previous hearing in February.
